Scholarship Reviewer for Community Foundation of Boone County

CFBC needs volunteer scholarship reviewers comprised of unbiased community members to ensure all areas of the county are represented. * The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) administers over 60 scholarship awards to a variety of students in Boone County. We rely on a team of volunteers to help evaluate submitted scholarship applications. Each year, over $250,000 is distributed to deserving students in our community thanks to the work of our volunteer scholarship reviewers. * Members of the committee must live OR work in Boone County, be savvy in email communication, and have the ability to evaluate within our online/web-based platform, and must NOT be currently affiliated with any Boone County school system (including teachers, coaches, administrators, and club sponsors). If they have affiliation with a Boone County school system, they should be a minimum of 4 years removed. * The volunteer scholarship reviewer will be responsible for reading an assigned portion of the applications received by the CFBC, evaluating and scoring based on the point system within the application. Each reviewer will read approximately 30 applications within the dedicated review period. *
