Organization Details
Chicken Nugget and Gang, Inc. encompasses a few different things. We take in small animals that have been abandoned or surrendered. We work with Johnson County Animal Shelter and The Humane Society of Boone County, Indiana when they need help, specifically in urgent cases. Johnson County will take small animal surrenders, that they then call rescues to pick up. The Humane Society of Boone County has called when they had neglect cases and there are small animals involved. Also, the Animal Control Officer for Boone County Sheriff’s Department calls when they need help. We have even picked up stray chickens, etc. We have these animals vetted, (all bunnies spayed or neutered) and then make them available for adoption. For some of the animals that have been through a really rough time, we have decided to keep them here as part of our small sanctuary.
