Established in 1994, Center Stage Community Theatre is dedicated to producing high quality community theatre. We currently present four shows per year. We have a cozy 50-seat venue with its own sound and light booth, costume room, two dressing rooms, a green room, three restrooms, a large kitchen, platform seating and a stage. The building is fully heated, air conditioned and is handicap accessible. Over the years, we have grown from a small local theatre to a regional theatre that attracts about half of our audiences from outside Boone County. Many of our performers and production personnel come from other surrounding cities and counties

Center Stage Community Theatre Opportunities
Volunteer for one show or all season!!
Center Stage has many volunteer opportunities: Set Building: Help make the stage come alive by using your muscle to build sets, repurpose existing sets, paint, set-up, etc. We will teach you what you need to know! Just come ready to get your hands dirty! Lighting and Sound: There is no better way to shape the mood of a show. Come try your hand at learning how. If you have basic computer skills, we will show you the rest. Best seat in the house! Costumer: Costumes help tell the story. Do you like to sew? We can use help identifying the right costumes and making them fit. Contact us to see how you can help. Stagehand/Stage Manager: Stagehands are the heart of the play! Work backstage helping to set up or change out the scenery, props, cue actors and special effects for a production. Front of House: Want to see the show for free? Be a greeter, ticket taker, serve refreshments at intermission. No skills are necessary besides a sparkling personality!
Center Stage Donation Needs
Center Stage has several donation needs. Gifts to Center Stage will help us to maintain our programs. In addition to monetary donations, we are also in need of stage curtains, and LED lighting.
